If you felt chills goosebumps or cried a little from this like I did, you are a true mariners fan
-
My favorite call was always "Swung on and belted!"
-
one of the greatest voice of the M's gives me chills through my whole body every time i heard that great phrase "My oh my" he will be forever missed
-
I know how it is mariners Fans. We lost our voice last year as well. Harry Kalas and Dave Niehaus. Boy heaven must sure love baseball... This is from a Phillies fan. Imagine those two calling a world series in heaven?
-
I love his home run calls "Fly Away!"
But in the recent years, we've lost some iconic voices of baseball: Harry Kalas, Dave Niehaus, and Ernie Harwell. And each of them have iconic calls. We'll miss 'em all.

Spring training is upon us. I think the real impact of Dave's absense will soon be felt all across Mariner nation. It's going to be so hard not hearing him this spring and summer. I still tear up when I think about it, and watch this video. Lets win this damn thing for Dave. Lets get to the World Series an win the damn thing for him.

We all know Dave is up in heaven getting ready for spring training, he has all of those legends up there awaiting his play-by-plays... there wont be a single game that i will not hear Dave in my head saying "my, oh my"
-
It's a shame the mariners never won a world series for him :(
-
my oh my....rest in peace Dave
Thank you for putting the time in this tribute. Losing Dave is like losing a long time friend. He will be sorely missed and remembered by all of Mariners nation.
