Nice Powerbook; I think they look better than todays Macbooks! When these were being produced I could never afford one; now that you can get them cheap on eBay I might get one, but I suppose as they have OS 9 installed, you can't really use them for much?

Well, I've restored my PB to OS 9 but I did have it running the last version of OS 10.4 (Tiger) and it ran that really well, I still use mine for web browsing and word processing, a very reliable machine!

Nice collection of Mac's! I have a Mac Mini, with Apple mouse and keyboard (with an extra 1gb ram installed). Its a great Mac and I bought it to see me through my university degree, but I'd never buy a desktop Mac again; when the Mac mini dies or becomes obsolete, I'll get a Macbook (btw, been using Mac's for 26 years; used and Apple 2 at school!)

Sadly not really, It only has a slow processor compared to today's standards, but you could check out a program called 'MacTubes' and see if that works.

Well, i like the design of this old thing too. But, its to slow for using text messaging or web browsing, that's for sure. Even an iBook G4 isn't able to run streams or Youtube movies. Big webpages need to much time to load. But I am sure, it's nice to have this good old thing in your private collection.

@scottls I don't know, it isn't easy to explain. I bought an iPod nano 4 months ago and it made me an Apple fangirl (I'm not a boy) =)

And I use a Dell Inspiron laptop, too.

PCs and Macs are awesome in their own ways :D

hello i have a powerbook mac g3 lombard i upgrade it to 512 ram and 80 giga hardisk and osx 10.3.9 works perfect is from 1999, bought on a nett site here in Norway. i love it easy to use on internett and as a word writer., what i nned is a office program for it i dont have that, do office 2004 suits mine?? and i need also a music software to system osx 10.3.9 do you now what can be used? since i do midi music.)) great video here :)

He he. I thought I had it bad.

I started with an iMac G3 400MHZ DV version and fell in love with Apple after being an avid PC user for years.

Now I have a slightly newer iMac G3 600MHz DV, an original 1.25 GHz G4 Mac Mini, a matching 1.25 GHz G4 PowerBook, and I just recently added a 266 MHz PowerBook G3 which I'm having fun restoring and updating.

I also have an 16GB iPhone 3GS, an original 8GB iPod Touch, and a 2GB newest generation shuffle which I happen to think is brilliant. (no buttons on the unit but you also don't need to look at it to use all it's functions)

What is it with Apple that makes us all instant fanboys and proud of it????
