Established in 2000, the centre is committed to supporting innovative models for exploring dialogues between theory and practice through postgraduate and doctoral research, and through individual and collaborative projects. The work of eCPR demonstrates that the documentary strengths of photography remain as potent as ever. The centre has supported a series of Symposia and one-day Conferences and is part of a consortium involving the National Library of Wales and Ffotogallery to supplement the national archive for photographic research. Professor Mark Durden talks about PHD Research.
