  • @roboitoe88 may not apply at this point but realize that Shot put, as Sandnigga2233 pointed out is lower body too so be sure to be working your legs.

    My advice is work on explosiveness. I was 5'7, 170 lbs at 17. I only benched 205 and squatted maybe 300. I threw the 12, 41'3 mainly because I was also a sprinter/jumper and that explosive power transitioned well in my form.

    We had a kid who trained for Strongman competitions... You don't want to know his max's, but he only threw 35ft.

  • @roboitoe88 I have heard of this a hundred times, It's is very good that you are benching a lot but shot put is about using lower body too, I only bench 290 and squat 410, and I throw 51 feet, if you wanna throw farther you have to crack down on your technique which ever kind it is, and you also have to practice a lot if you wanna throw farther

  • i need to learn good technique can anyone send me a video. between spining steping and punching. i would apreciate it alot. im benching 360. im 17 and im hitting like 38's at best with a 12 pound ball. idk what is up with me ?
