Delightful. Censored as expected when performed for an audience. I sang it with an audience of 1 friend (plus the pianist) at the West Coast Ragtime Festival well after hours once, in full dialect with the original words, to present it the way it would have sounded when new. The way I see it, a "coon" character was nothing more than the black version of a redneck -- not meant to be a portrayal of the race as a whole, but merely a segment of the population.
