Step By Step arranges Press Conference and events to help save the life of Steven Pho, who desperately needs stem cell transplant

Steven Pho is a Vietnamese-Chinese 22 year old young man. He loves to watch and play sports and to hang out with many of his friends. He is a student at York University studying Kinesiology, and he is a tremendously courageous and optimistic brother and son.
Approximately 3 years ago, Steven was diagnosed with a type of cancer known as Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). ALL is a type of cancer that causes an overproduction of immature white blood cells that form rapidly from his bone marrow. These abnormal white blood cells, called leukemia cells, cannot fight infections, and they swarm the normal blood cells that the body requires. To treat this disease, Steven has endured 2 years of painful chemotherapy, and for 8 months following, he shortly experienced the success of remission.
As of June 1, 2009, the cancer has returned and is threatening to take his life. In order for him to continue fighting this battle, he desperately and urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. This is his only hope to live and to be cancer-free. Steven is currently undergoing another chemotherapy procedure at the Princess Margaret Hospital while he urgently waits for a matching donor. As the days go by, he is growing weaker physically, but his faith and spirit still stay strong.
