hmmm i just purchased a very similar juicer to this on the net, but having seen how long it took for you to make half a cups worth of juice i'm thinking... i wonder if i can cancel it :(

My experience with centrifugal juicers: extremely noisy, incapable of juicing wheat grass, mediocre for veggies, pretty good for fruit. Regarding the bacteria comment, I'm baffled. Most people I know wash their dishes in a sink.

The Hurom slow juicer made by Omeg's manufacture. it's same as Omega VRT 350 HD. but I think the Omega single auger juicer is the best overall. 8003/4/5/6 produce less form(oxidation) to keep all the enzymes alive more longer than VRT.

@powerofrawdoods Cool, thanks for the tips. I haven't tried a vertical auger yet. The yields look good, low foam. My 8003 is still rocking so no need to replace. I'm going to ask around and see if any of my friends have one I can use for my own juice off! Keep spreading the good word about raw foods!

if you put a good edible oil on the auger first the squeak from the wheatgrass will go away and also the centrifical juicers fast motion kills alot of the enzymes in the juicse so the auger style juice is the best and I just bought a upright auger style juicer by Hurom and it is fantastic.

@Shelldall Thank you for tip about using edible oil. The squeak is only there when I put in a bunch of wheatgrass. If I feed small amounts it doesn't do it. But of course, that takes more time.
