War are supposed to be a scary life threatening experience for the combatants. The people manning thease things will develop a very low view of the value of human life. If you do not face the risk of being killed in combat, then you are not soldier, just a killer.

Way to go, Amerika! Now you can make war without being in the area of operations, how cool is that? Pretty soon you can transfer the action to videogamers, and save more dollars. And who worries about foreigners being killed ?
