@Strawberrycream69 Hi all, can anyone tell me the name of the song wheich ended each nights show at 3am. I can rember listening every night and didn't go to sleep until I heard that last song! anyone help with the name of the song, be good to you tube it and listen to again after 30 odd years !! many thanks

Remembering and reliving the previous radio luxembourg on memories and reunions,doesnt make up for the lack of a station thats 100% radio luxembourg in sound style and form,a classic rock format and directional drm sw beam to the uk only is an insult to what was. Radio luxembourg should be its previous format on sky/freesat on eurobird1 on the european s1 beam and online and in drm shortwave in stereo across europe using an omnidirectional 360deg beam,when the radios become available.

I only remember Stewart & Olly Henry..as i only listened at night..up earley for school next day ya see ;) but they were always first with the hits...and wern't affraid to play a FULL 12" occationaly. If it were to come back it should be a dedicated 70s & 80s music station :))

Radio Luxembourg and Classic Rock? Not the R.Luxembourg I used to know! If I brought the station back it this would be it's previous rock pop and entertainment format with 24:7 coverage of Europe and the UK in digital stereo via Skydigital/Freesat platforms on the Eurobird1 satellite,a 24:7 paneuropean DRM transmission on 15350kHz SW with a 360deg omnidirectional beam at 250kW from Junglinster using the old 19m mast,and I would broadcast it from 1440kHz/208m at 1200kW power from 9pm-2am nightly.

Radio Luxembourg is rubbish these days;a classic rock formula,internet only access NO DRM-SW transmission anymore,a prerecorded loop and cardboard presentation! If I brought back R.Luxembourg I would have used the old formula of rock pop and entertainment,nightly broadcasts from 9pm-2am on 1440 at 1200Kw tx power,Freesat and Sky from Eurobird 1 satellite,and 24h a day DRM on a paneuropean omnidirectional beam from 15350kHz SW at Junglinster at 250kW power.
