Dont know why anyone would be negative about bobby, he easily could have hung it up years ago, ungrateful heads, i actually enjoy this. This is and should be an electric song but i think bobby did a dam good job with it acoustic, all negativity should just roll away from here.

Hey, it's done acoustically...in this light, tunes are meant to be bare boned and different...shows off his versatility and chops...I'm a fan...takes balls to take this on in this fashion...GO BOBBY!!!!

The group were always superb, but in my ears, quite hard to sometimes know who was producing what sound - Jerry from Bob from Phil from keyboards etc....so, I must try to check this, but I think Bob is playing "his part" - rather than trying a one-man recreation of the song - and how fantastic it is to see it stripped out in all its brilliance and subtlety - I love it and have always thought that Bob is/was so key to the Dead. Thanks!!

@1keithk1 Thank you!

If you are dissin' this, you are missin' this. Did you think that it was just the Dead, that the entire environment, the people, the space itself would not continue to grow and express itself differently to you?. Come back here, listen to it again, stop judging and all that mundanity, and let the power of this song take you back to that empty space where we all got on.

im sooooooooo bummed out mickey and bill wont join furthur... im a 14 y/o drummer and i love the unique tribal drum sounds with "the dead"... i saw "the dead" 3 times and saw furthur about 10 times... its not fair right when i get into the music the drummers dissapear, and im a drummer so its a double bummer!

This is great! SO good to see them playing together, looks like a great film too!

Great videography and a really nice performance!

sounds like fun to me either way..... great moment that you just never get to see thank God for youtube or this wouldn't be out there.
More evidence that the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. Here the parts sound dull and rusty: brilliant song, nothing to lift it off the ground.

@ShqueesheMyJuisher Hello - just wanted to let you know that there was no bass, just buzz from recording the low E string - wish it could've been a better sound recording!
