The closed Hermite curve tool is used to create a concave shape - observe as the software automatically produces the interior triangles necessary to create a triangle mesh in WPF. As the shape is edited using control points, the triangles are updated automatically. The flat shape can then be used to create a texture mapped volumic shape which is then set spinning by a simple animation. Calder4D can automatically produce the XAML to produce the whole scene you created.
