@veeshead yeah if you are gonna tune down you cant beat the longer necks but they are so hard to find i wish guitar companies would realize this and make more of them people want to buy them.

@ganjaking187 I have converted an electric and even a Classical(that was strange) and I think the scales are just too short. Sounds ok but longer scale like 27" or 28"  sounds so much better.

Tacoma do a nice and quite cheap acoustic baritone, not in production anymore I don't think, but still can get them second hand. Such beautiful playing from Russell Malone, sounds so nice too.

@balluse still haven't found a good one, what you can do is get some super heavy gauge strings and tune down. ive never done it on a acoustic but ive done it on a electric.
