Essl's tracks are a genuine musical comment and a deep bow to Bach in a so far unseen way, developing to unimagined acoustic sculptures, like stepping on musical ground, which has never been stepped on, and what's more: stand by themselves.

To me (who is new to electronic music!) - a unique experience.

    Thanks a lot!

  • You should listen to the whole CD, with some good headphones. Exceptional what Mr. Essl is doing by the electronics, starting out with *Bach*'s harmonic skeleton. Really breathtaking.

The string ensemble none the less: true and clean expression, giving Bach's composition way to work by itself. ( ...to be continued...)
