12th Street Rag

Dave Calendine playing 12th Street Rag on the former Chicago Stadium Barton Theatre Pipe Organ, now located in the Maloof residence in Las Vegas, NV. This is pretty raw, as I had only sat down to the organ for the first time about 5 minutes before my friend recorded this.

Dave, is the organ itself a Wurlitzer, Moller, Barton, or a comobnation of organs put together? It sounds great, and the console looks fantastic. Sad about the pipes pershing in the fire.

The organ is a wide mix of about everything that is out there. I don't have the specifics, but I do know that there is a large mix.

6 manuals ... overkill for an organ console, but it is still a heck of a lot of fun! Phil Maloof has a dog in the house, and it can be hyper as all get out sometimes. It barks and barks and barks and barks....

Still a pipe organ, but now is in a house. I heard it many many times when it was blowing the chicago stadium pipes!
