the pobably would hate this suggestion, but how about seeing James, Sean and Julian Lennon, Zak Starkey, and Dhani Harrison all playing together. thats a pretty talented group. i would put Julian and James doing most of the vocals. ZAk is obviously a good drummer. Dhani plays guitar and Sean is also a really solid instrumentalist who could play either bass, guitar, or piano.

How could he be anything less than very good...It's in his DNA! I think his pop is proud. I remember when he was younger and tearing around the Sussex hedge rows in a little loud car. But now he has found the music and hopefully will be good enough to follow in the foot steps of his dad.

James you´re every good. Please don´t care to a few foolish comments. You don´t need to proof anything because you are great and you do a very very good job. Please don´t hide just because "musically blind" people can´t see you. They expect you to be Paul but get disapointed because you are James and then forget to see your talent. Please just go ahead.

The get together should be for a good cause.

@paxsedan Very cruel.

@rjmprod Happy Christmas Mate, all the best to you and yours!

@mark22160 yes, the Beatles were unique, we do agree!
Have a great Holiday!

@rjmprod Also, I would agree that Zak Starky is a very credible musician in his own right along with Jason Bonham - both drummers of course. I have looked ad Sean Lennon on you tube and wasn't very keen on his performances. Without a doubt, the worst second generation act was the Osmond Boys, who were truly dreadful, hence my more generalised comments. I have not seen or heard anything by Dahni Harrison.

@rjmprod I am happy for all to enjoy their music of personal taste. Please understand that I was not making any personal attack. My point was the Beatles were unique, many children of famous parents have tried to follow in their footsteps and failed miserably. As Ringo would say, "peace and love", sorry I didn't explain myself more clearly.
-
@mark22160 Ok dude, would I make it better for you if I said, "I enjoy what the children are doing of these famous musicians?"
Better?
-
@rjmprod just because the parents had it in spades, it doesn't follow the kids do.

JerichoDitch2 You may be right, but I would like to live the fantasy of a 2nd generation brilliance!
It was a benefit show for David Lynch's Maharishi University of Meditation (or something like that). Donovan was also there.
