This a relatively rare track off of the Canadian Era Vulgaris Tour CD set. It is a great cover of the original by Brian Eno.

  • @Owlbowl what about this song makes everyone who loves eno hate QOTSAs version? please explain it because it seems rediculous that so many people are incapable of enjoying both

  • @GUITARaddictionsRfun I like both!

  • I think, GUITARaddictionsRfun, that the reasons mainly on why people may not like the QOTSA's version as much is that of Eno's is... yes, it's not the original... but, really, I think it's because QOTSA is MAINSTREAM!... you know... TOP 40!

  • i think its a good cover, tipping hat to original's tip of the hat to velvets...good enough

  • @GUITARaddictionsRfun

totally enjoy both equally... can't tell the difference really (ok, I can, really;)

    But, hey! --Both R Kickin"

    Great musicianship.

  • I suppose people who don't like it prefer the original precisely because it was and still IS SO damn exciting and original, especially in the context of the rest of the album....the same applies to the album's other stunning track "The Baby's On Fire!".

  • Why do I like this so much? I've never heard Qotsa so upbeat.

  • both are fucking awesome

  • Eno is a god, Kyuss were legends, QOTSA are pretty good, like-wise Omar, Bobby Gillespie is a pile of shit in comparison to the really talented English artists in the scene he was a part of.

  • This reminds me of Cage the Elephant.

  • @GUITARaddictionsRfun Hell if there IS a problem with this cover, it's almost TOO respectful of the original. It's definitely not a case of, like, Madonna shitting on American Pie, it's just a good cover tune.

  • how could you possibly hate this is if you love the original?

  • @tacosaucemafia Josh shits more talent than Omar has ever had.. Okay thats a lie, they both kick arse. Can't we all just get along?

  • Also Bobby Gillespie is on the track so do people also hate him and Primal Scream now?? I really don't get people that have to have a go at covers..... especially when the kick ass. Massive fan of Eno too by the way. Plain pathetic.

  • @tacosaucemafia you obviously were born in a shack and dont get out much

  • Fuck U If you dont like both versions.

  • @GUITARaddictionsRfun Cuz Josh Homme is a douche, and Omar Rodriguez Lopez would eat him alive in the talent department.

  • @MikeIXWilliams: Right on. Both are great rockers. Enjoy them for what they are, not what your notions of what they should be.

  • bobby gillespie and josh hommes singing on this is pretty cool, they should do more stuff together

  • @cassandalabra german tour edition.

  • Check out the cover by The Plastic FanTastics.

  • I like the call out to velvet underground at the end

  • @GUITAaddictionsRfun do you by chance have any info on how i can get this cd? i "googled" it and found an era vulgaris tour cd on amazon, but this song wasn't on the track listing. i would welcome suggestions...

  • is this real
