Some interesting ideas. We are better than animals, you say. We can control our own destiny, and they can't. So, if that's the case, why are we not doing so? Or do you believe it is our intent to rid the earth of diversity by driving so many species to extinction? And did we intend to alter the chemistry of the oceans and the composition of the atmosphere so as to threaten the Earth's ability to provide us with sustenance? No other animal ever did these things.

Animals have intelligence. The proof is presented to my face. I refuse to believe what is right in front of my own eyes because it challenges my preconceived notions of human superiority which I require to allow me to continue my arrogant destructive patterns of living and model of society. I will denounce this video as fake and go outside to wave a big American flag and then come back home to play some militaristic video games and practice shooting my gun at squirrels and other animals.

Basically what I'm saying is that animals are not humans. Certainly we should not be cruel to animals since they can experience pain and fear. But stop it already with this silly notion that they are just like us. They are nothing like us; the mental and emotional experiences, even of the higher mammals, is not anything like ours. We are the only beings capable of directing our own destiny, going against our programming, or contemplating the meaning of any of it;

Human beings, on the other hand, are more than proficient in any one task. Our experience in our minds and feelings, and the way in which we experience the world, is wholly unique and quite in excess of any capability of any other creature. Animals cannot modify their programming. They cannot make choices that go against their instincts by using their reasoning to derive strategies; nor would it ever occur to them to question their instincts, since they cannot fathom transcendent concepts.

Anderson Cooper is also doing some Special on 'smart' animals. Many animals have narrow capabilities that match or exceed humans, but this is meaningless, in terms of assessing inherent worth. A dolphin can memorize sounds better than people; certain birds can memorize geographic topographical images better than people. This only means that these creatures need to be proficient in these tasks in order to survive...continued..

Valid scientific results are repeatable, these have not been. Science 101: Non-repeatable results are inconclusive. You think I 'enjoy' knowing that so much 'science' is sloppy, owned by biased interests who only release research if the results suit their finances, & outright fraud?. I don't 'enjoy' that at ALL. Do you define DENIAL as any idea that disagrees w/ YOU? That's a good way to never learn anything new.

This and other research basically proves that chimps were the pre-evolution or similiar on man-kind. They share 95% of their DNA with us but most of that is just cell structure

It's on the news. It has so-called research articles. Right. The scientific community is a bunch of careerists, who'll do anything to keep their jobs & get grants. Fake. There've been tests like this w/ chimps for years; why are results so different this time? Question experts' motives, intelligence & ethics. Scientism: the religion of science, not science itself. You're not supposed to -believe- in science, it's supposed to make you -know-. This is no proof, this is a parlor trick.
