I'm certainly not going to have a baby just to lower my risk of getting breast cancer, even though having babies young does have a protective effect.

@EuropeanProLifer Right. But whether you increase your estrogen exposure by avoiding pregnancy through abstinence, abortion, or the use of birth control makes no difference. Best way to avoid breast cancer? Have a baby while you're still a teenager!

@shiphrahhopeful Gosh, is that you, Grandma?

@SuperHappyPuppy You don't have to be abstinent, and you don't have to be a slut either...just get married and have all the safe, healthy & moral sex you want!
-
@shiphrahhopeful Abstinence is a fucking bore.
-
@shiphrahhopeful No, actually you're wrong. Science tells us that abstinence is unsafe (when it prevents teenage girls from having babies before the age of 20) but sex is natural. As far as this "overwhelming evidence" is concerned, I'll go with what the National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society state: There is no link between abortion and breast cancer.

@SuperHappyPuppy PROMISCUITY KILLS!! For many obvious health reasons, young people should remain abstinent until marriage. Obviously, women were designed to get married, and begin having children between 18-20, which is what most people did before the 1960s, and is what is ideal for a woman's health.
To state that "abortion isn't a risk factor at all" demonstrates your complete dishonesty with the overwhelming evidence.

@shiphrahhopeful You can't have a baby if you're abstinent, and having a baby before the age of 20 reduces your chance of breast cancer by 50% -- early pregnancy is a known protective factor for breast cancer. The most significant carcinogen for breast cancer is human estrogen. Contraceptive use and smoking are weak risk factors; the timing of their use with respect to first pregnancy is irrelevant. Abortion isn't a risk factor at all. Thanks for demonstrating your ignorance.

@SuperHappyPuppy Abstinence protects from STDs and unwanted pregnancy. Avoiding carcinogen exposure (abortion, chemical contraceptives, smoking, etc.) before a first pregnancy, decreases your chances of breast cancer. Abstinence does not increase your risk of cancer, but exposure to carcinogens do.

Oh yes a lot of people get stds by not having sex and of course the aids rate is very high. Planned Parenthoods days are numbered thier evil will soon come to light and will continue to be exposed for thier evil and rotten practices
Abstinence is just as bad as abortion, when it comes to risk factors for the development of breast cancer. Teen pregnancy actually REDUCES one's risk of developing breast cancer -- so why are they being told that abstinence is so great? ABSTINENCE KILLS!!!
