AWESOME tutorial!
this was fantastic,
i've just been having some trouble doing the muted chords in the verse, i know its stupid, but could you explain it?
thankyou so much!!

Thanks, much appreciated. To start with it is easier to leave out muted chords and just get the strumming correct first, you can always just do a down in stead of a muted strum. You can either mute the strum with your left or right hand, i usually use my right by just hitting the strings with the heal of my hand as I strum down and thus stopping the note.

i can't play bar chords and i also don't have a capo, i am so screwed, there almost aren't any songs i can play like that :(

There are heaps, try Knockin On Heavens Door, Every Rose Has Its Thorn, To Her Door, Let Her Cry etc, etc. You can still play the songs if you don't have a capo they will just be in a different key and this only makes a difference if you want to sing them.
