TVL opname van de start eind januari 2007 van een pilot / proef project met elektronisch papier (e-paper / epaper) in onderwijs, op het Bonnefantencollege te Maastricht. Wereldwijd het 1e experiment. 1 klas met 1 vak gedurende 6 weken. Begeleid door het bedrijf Edupaper.nl te Maastricht
broadcasting on regional Dutch TV about worldwide the first pilot with e-paper in education, at the Bonnefantencollege in Maastricht. Epaper makes schoolbooks cheaper, more flexibel and timely. It saves the back of children and it is better for nature. Now 70% of all forests are cut down for the use of paper production. If people will not print so much anymore and will use e-books we could save a lot of forest. These are very needed for reduction of CO2 and could be used in the near future as biomass for the production of
electricity and warmth.
