The first water/liquid cooled PS3. The system runs at a cool 32 degrees celsius under a heavy load, but the fans and such remain mostly silent.

  • @icametorock1 and if it truly loves you it will wipe your bum for you too =)

  • Can someone explain to me what all of that does, i dont get the liquid part, whats the point of it?

  • 24/7 gaming ~!

  • i wouldn't do this personally, but what is the desired effect besides being cold? ylod proof? I always thought the fan worked quite efficiently in mine

  • wow, this looks incredibly tricky to do.

  • No link?

  • @trumansnare I've done something eerily similar with my 360slim. Bought it because my old 360elite got stolen(Along with about 90 fuckign games >_>) Red ring in a week. Fan that was in there sucks ass and the case allows zero airflow. Took it apart, cut the metal mesh on the inside, removed POS fan, got a Delta in there now. Loud as a mother fucker. Pushes air like a champ though. Like a little space heater haha

2 months later all is good. Looks good. (Knock on wood back) :P

  • @jojuae

No, but it certainly prevents it from overheating and getting the Yellow Light of Death, like mine did the other day, after almost 4 years of use.

I took it apart, heated up the GPU, removed the shitty thermal paste, added some Arctic Silver 5. Cut a whole out of the bottom of my ps3 so the fan could breath more. And so far (knock on wood) it turned back on, and seems to be running like a champ.

I wish they still sold these waterblocks. I got WCing in my PC. I would love it in my ps3.

  • What's the point? Youn can't overclock a PS3 >_>
