To Everyone-

This is a video response to "nicolexolovee" and her video of "First V-log." Her video really has nothing to do with music, but was in response to Death Cab for Cutie's live version of "We Looked Like Giants." She has the same song in the background of her video, which inspired me to do this (and is also the reason why "We Looked Like Giants" is in full as a video response).

Check her out. She has some crazy good editting going on in her videos.

I know it's long. Bear with it.

I plan to do more of these. I like them.

I know it's nothing but Death Cab, Motion City Soundtrack, and Interpol. The reason for this is because I've really gotten into Motion City Soundtrack recently, Death Cab was the main inspiration for this video, and I thought Interpol just seemed to fit with the other songs.

I have changed cymbals since the last video (from Pulse ones to Zildjians, excluding the hi-hats. Those are the same).

There are a lot more "ghost" notes and other variations that aren't in the actual versions of the song in this collection in comparison to the last collection. I did this in about an hour on Monday and wanted to have it up that night, so it kind of was done in a hurry. Everything was one take (except "Everything Is Alright," because I messed up royally on that one).

As I did in the last collection, I will be ranking the songs as "Okay," "Good," and "Pretty Good."

Untitled by Interpol (Turn on the Bright Lights)

I thought I did "Pretty Good" on this one. I know towards the middle, cymbal starts to sound weird. That's because I broke my stick midway through that song (I'm not sure if it's noticeable) and had to flip it to sound normal again. Other than that, I pretty much nailed it. I played like the La Route du Rock live version, so that's why towards the end, I don't hit the small tom, but instead hit three cymbal crashes.

christian, this was almost as orgasmic as your mother, but again, where is the blink? u dont even have to play travis's hard ones. just get some of the simpler beats and play that.

Haha, thank you for your kind words. When you say the last two songs, I'm assuming you don't mean "We Looked Like Giants." The last two songs were "NYC" by Interpol and "My Favorite Accident" by Motion City Soundtrack. Both of the songs are great. I love them.
