Thank you so much for the kind words about my father, and me! I am very proud of my fathers accomplishments in his "way to short" life. As for the fellow playing this video, Ray Skjelbred, he was one of the best, and nicest
musicians i have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Thank you again,,,you too Tom!

No, I was referring to "idamay1", who is Frank Melrose's daughter!! I probably sent it to you rather than as a reply to her, because computer-wise, I am about as savvy as that petri dish from which you were cloned!

Howdy!
Thanks for your comment! Yes, that there Ray fellow is a remarkable pianist and a heck of a nice guy. I met and recorded him for the first time in Sacramento 2007, and I hope to see him there again this year!

Well, all I can say is that you better be a gentleman, cause that Ray fella used to be a Karate Champion and he knows how to dispatch troublemakers!

Oh my God, you're Frank Melrose's daughter. I have loved his music since I first heard it (where and on what recording I don't remember now) some time in the 1960s. He was terrific -- Kansas City Frank. I've read your comments on the newly reissued CDs and am thrilled to see you on YouTube. YouTube is the best thing that happened to me since, as they say, the goldfish died ... or since Christ left Cleveland....

Hi Wallerfan!
The actual truth is that I am not related to anyone at all since I was cloned in a petri dish a hundred years ago from raw materials taken from a small farm pond in Missouri.
I am Tom Warner = tdub1941 = RagJazzMonkey. It may be that you are referring to Ray Skjelbred, the guy playing the piano in this video.
I wish I could play like he does, but the required piano playing gene was not found in the farm pond that would have enabled me to do so.
Best regards,
