Bitch please, you stupid? Of course it's stealing. When you go into a pc hardware shop EVERYTHING you see is a fucking copy. The thing is that people that want the game are suppose to buy it, so that the company can make profit. By "copying" you take away the profit they would have made on you buying the game.

Can't say I don't download though, I've got a list of 94 torrents that proves that, difference is I KNOW it's wrong and I do it because games are rridiculously expensiv

@darrow55 Agreed the only reason i pirate games is that i literally cant afford them other wise id buy them i bought some games that i thought were reall good though.

@MrBeesness I know. Ideologically I can't play tycoons even though they take up less space :( Playing eco gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Plus, I have a background in human ecology, I guess that matters too...

@darrow55 It's still considered piracy, not theft though <.< That's why there are two different legal definitions used. Also, if you have no intention of buying the produt the company does not lose any money since you were not a potential customer to begin with.That's faulty logic. Just sayin'.

@darrow55 I was speaking mostly about your excuse of games being expensive. Seeing as we seem to agree to alternatives I'd say that there isn't really a reason to pirate other than it's free and spending money sucks.

Most pirates know that they're pirating, admitting so openly doesn't make anyone nobler or better than anyone else.

@darrow55 Of course that's an option. Some other options include borrowing games, buying less than you would like, and sticking to free games. Those are all probably insufficient, because like many people - myself included, you pirate mainly because it's easy and you can.

But you're probably too busy lauding yourself over your self awareness as a thief to see it.
