America in color before the "60s" kicked in. Though soon ridiculed I sort of like the old formality of dress.

  • How long did this show run from?

In loving memory of Johnny Olson (1910-1985).

  • The host looks like NIXON.

  • What show is this, and was this a G-T show?

  • @WarioBarker88 Some other info was found as well, but the above was just the basics. Also, the Paley Center in New York has an episode for viewing, but only by appointment.

  • I posted a link to this clip at the Game Show Forum, and some great researchers there found the following...

"Super Bingo" was a 13-episode syndicated series produced by J&H International Corp. that was tested in six cities from September-December 1967. The podiums near host Bill Leyden were for celebrities, who in this case were Arlene Dahl and Jack Carter.

It's so obscure, it managed to elude the "Encyclopedia Of TV Game Shows", AND Randy West's biography of Johnny Olson. Great find! :-)

  • He was on the Price is Right, Match Game.

  • I didn't know there was a Bingo Game Show from back in the 60's. Just a little nostalgia before Lingo was created. Can you please post a full episode of this, love to see it.

Love the way Johnny Olson opened the show.
