Inspired by actual events, Kathy (Academy Award® winner Rachel Weisz) is an American police officer who takes a job working as a peacekeeper in post-war Bosnia. Her expectations of helping to rebuild a devastated country are dashed when she uncovers a dangerous reality of corruption, cover-up and intrigue amid a world of private contractors and multinational diplomatic doubletalk. Directed by first time filmmaker Larysa Kondracki, the film also stars Academy Award winner Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci and Academy Award nominee David Strathairn.

Thankfully there are people like Kathryn Bolkovac left in the world! And what does it say about "humans" who are paid to protect the very people they are preying on? Very sad that Ms. Bolkovac paid, and is still paying a high price for shining a light on the slimeballs and cockroaches who still need to be brought to justice! A movie that needed to be made! Kudos to all involved in this project!!

Rachel Weiz is ridiculously awesome & this film looks FANTASTIC.

& I've long had a problem with the whole United Nations international immunity b.s. line. The point of having such an organization IS TO HOLD PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE. I mean, right??? lol

It was very hard and painfull to watch, and to feel myself powerless. Afterwards I started to think if to learn the nature of the crime with all its roots and motivations, - can we prevent it or at least to limit to occure again and again everywhere in the world??!........
