as long as the intonation and rhythm is correct, im happy with the tempo
who says it has to stay slow? the speed can symbolize the joy they hold in rejoicing for God and Jesus Christ

Hallelujah! I mean, the fast speed reminds me of the joy of his resurrection! Amen!

A lot of Hallelujahs you wrote on the description!!! hahahaaaa
As a curiosity I like the tempo, but for my personal taste this is really too fast.
I prefer slower xp

This is perhaps the fastest performance of the Hallelujah Chorus I have ever heard...but I like it. Usually, if performed at the "usual" tempo, it would have a solemn, majestic flavor; but this performance is more lively and energetic.

It would appear that the conductor took the tempo at 72 per half note; rather than 72 per quarter note. Interesting.

Did Starbucks sponsor this performance?

Interesting experiment. But it should have stayed in the rehearsal hall.
It's even with modern high speed ideals too fast.
How on earth do you adapt the rest of Messiah to this speed?

passa uma energia muito forte neste tempo e retrata bem a vitória de jesus sobre a morte na sua ressurreição.
