@BenEColeman I have not heard Kendricks version however before I heard Matthew Ward sing it, he said that it was written as a march. This song truly does have amazing depth (Philippians 3:7-11).

@nancybnelson1 Actually, the song was written by Graham Kendrick. Though the way Matthew sings it, it almost seems to be a different song. When I got the 'My Redeemer' album, it took several hearings to realize that I had heard the song before. I don't know how Graham intended it to be sung, but the versions I had heard before were much more upbeat, 'perky', and gave a very 'Plastic Christian' feel. Matthew's rendition gives the song the depth it deserves, and draws the listener into worship
