This video is a good example of why I am starting a farm based on Polyface Farms' Joel Salatin's example. He is the guru of responsible farming of animals for meat purposes. I eat meat and will continue to do so because I can face the reality of the life cycle. His animals are treated like kings in comparison to the Tyson animals most people eat. His animals are allowed and encouraged to have their own chicken-ness, pigness, cowness, turkeyness and then feed people. It's respectful and tasty.
