Communion composed by J. Lechat performed by organist Daniel Roth on the St. Sulpice Church pipe organ in Paris France. Filmed at the end of Sunday mass on November 4, 2007.
Yes, just like the Buxtehude Passacaglia in d-moll. First time I looked at the actual music I was convinced I could sight read it but it turned out much more difficult than I expected especially with the phrasing.
I liked your performances very much but I have my reservations about the organ..
Parts of this piece are harder than they first appear, I can sight read it, but parts are a little bit fiddley. Daniel and his wife Odile sent me the music, which I am very grateful for, check out the channel "latribe" to hear it.
Sight reading this wouldn't be much of a challenge for him or even me for that matter but his phrasing and articulation is what really shows his excellence, his brilliance and his mark as a great organist.

Very nice and appropriate communion interpretation of Ubi Caritas. Perhaps other chants as well?

I hope I can meet him one day.
