  • Hi! i am SO interested on your program (i am doing KTVA and i use SS too -this one at the minimum-)

i wanna ask you if, could you check a demo that i did? i found a weird register that is freaking me out cause is on the same zone where my high head it supposed to be! and i dont think that that is head voice (is like a very low whistle, around C5-F5), here is the video: /watch?v=Ao-a65mv88g

(or you can see it on my channel, i erased all the other videos so it is the only video i have)

    Thank you!!

  • @89gerardo Sure, I am happy to review your singing, please send it to my personal email address. Go to my web site and email me the information. I look forward to you becoming a client of TVS and helping you to sing better.

  • sound like Tony Harnell :)

    you are great singer,high screamer

  • @tim37021 Thanks... tell me more about your singing? Send me a private email.

  • I've had the program for quite a while now, but I've just within the last month and a half or so started using it seriously, on a daily basis. I use it going to and from work 5 days a week. I live in an apartment, so I can't sing there, but the half an hour to and from work is getting me progress. When I say "lowered larynx," I meant the full operatic tone my teachers had me doing. I love classical singing, and operatic tenors are amazing, but it's not ME.

  • @jeranbrown1 I totally get it Jeran... again, glad you found your "home"... welcome to TVS... thats why we are here... for singers like you.

  • @jeranbrown1 .... Also, you do need to know that "lowering the larynx" is anything but "bullshit"... LOL... in fact, we do want to lower the larynx in TVS... its quite important, its just understanding why, when and how... it is in fact, one of the most important things you need to learn how to do to keep your head tones from sounding too quacky, which is kinda what the "other guys" tend to produce because they dont understand how to shape formants. Watch the lecture, "intrinsic anchoring"...

  • @jeranbrown1 Hey Jeran, your welcome buddy... I love it when I come across a fan or client that truly "gets it"... who understands the essence of what TVS is about beyond the techniques. Its about leading by example and really getting down to the hard stuff and not running a voice training business that is not just about marketing and taking your money. Glad to hear your happy with "Pillars" 2.0. How long have you had it?

  • Robert - Since childhood, Steven Tyler's mid 90's stuff like "Nine Lives" has insired me to sing. I've tried Manning's programs and straight up classical lessons, and neither did much for me. I've been using your program for about a month now, and it's exactly what I needed. Thank you for keeping it real and not using that confusing "mixed voice" bullshit, and all that lowered larynx stuff!

  • @AtariMaxiToriyama Thank you for your perspective. Yes, I am aware of the anxiety that comes with being a "baritone"... I can tell you and all singers... IT doesn't matter much, truly. Stop worrying about if you are a "barritone" or a "tenor"... I am a Baritone! Geoff Tate is a Baritone. Its not about Classical labels, its about the techniques and how you use your voice. TVS techniques can help a baritone sing high like a tenor, trust me.
