  • Hi Jay, I recently discovered your "Organ Build" forum on the Family Woodworking site. What a great way to share the joy and satisfaction of amateur organ building! Keep up the good work!

  • I would love to buy one of these street organs... can anyone here tell me where i might make contact with a builder,

    Thanks so much. James

  • This is so cute, and I love the sound, it makes me happy. I'm sure it's a good antidepressant, better than pills. Play it to gloomy folks to cheer them up.

  • Thanks Glad you liked the video and Thank you for the nice comment

  • I found the bracket that clamps to the shaft that was made from Walnut had cracked I replaced it with a new Hard Maple one and installed a screw as John said and all is well.

Thanks John your comments mean a lot to me.

  • What a nice little video, thank you for posting it. This is a john Smith Senior 20 virtually finished, the sticking music could be that the take up spool securing screw has no proper drilling to locate in, try it !

It is so nice to see another one of my organs having been built closely to the plans sounding so well. with a nice front and the conductor this will be another one for the builder to be truley proud of. How a bout a video of the Universal I see in a background please.

    John Smith

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I've really wanted to see how these look on the inside while in operation. I'd like to some day build one of these. Nice craftsmanship!
