Wayfaring Stranger on the Missionary Banjo

When I first met Jim, I learned that although he was an excellent player, he didn't even own a banjo. He'd sold his Gibson Mastertone to pay for a missionary trip to Cuba.
He and I used to play together in Church, and I couldn't imagine him playing that well and not even owning a banjo, so I bought this Alverez and gave it to him, but told him he couldn't sell it.
After I left the Church, he brought it back to me. Said he was through with it. So I took it back, and started playing it myself and became quite attached to it.
Then the other day I got a call. Seems like he's doing some missionary work up in the great North Woods of Maine and has need of a banjo, so I'm getting ready to send it back to him.
I've been working on Wayfaring Stranger for a while, and wanted to put it up on youtube. I still can't get through it all without making a mistake or two, but before the Alverez left me to go on a missions trip, I wanted to play that song on it. So, for better or for worse, here it is.
I almost got through it without messing it up, but not quite, but who cares. Nothing in this old world is perfect.. except love..
