I'd hate to fall off at speed wearing those clothes.

@billj3cub lol, you probably already know this but as i ride the same bike, i'll tell you anyway, means hes removed the fairings and modified the bike ;)

A buddy of mine said he had a GSXR1000 that he rode as a naked street fighter. I wonder if this is what he meant?
RIDE NAKED!! hahahahaha!!!

@pytordk Its not nice calling people retards. These people that ride with just T shirt and shorts on might be as thick as two short planks, but in the USA we have lots of them. "Retards" as you call them, actually are pretty good at the jobs they can do and listen too. We prefer the term disabled, and if you fall off your motorcycle, which can happen, then if you do not wear the gear you can become one. THEN they listen. But it's too late then. Freedom is a wonderful thing in the right hands.

We need commercials like this in the states...

None of the Gear, All of the Time

ive rode 1000cc sport bike as well as dual sports for a longggg time, i believe its not thatwe need to get noticed its that most of the motorcycle poeple dont even look ahead or try to forsee happening other wise you would have never had to worry about that car cutting you off becuase that car had room to get in your lane cause you where not stupid to be next to him/her...

yeh seeing people underdressed does make you think of squids. But the thing is the squids know the risks, they get the same drill as anyone else in the training courses and still choose to not wear the gear. Its like the "smoking kills" ads on cigarette packets. It will deter most people but there is still the few that go for it despite the warning. Good to hear you ride ATGATT but its a bit difficult to force everyone into gear. The warnings are there, compulsery usage can be overkill sometimes

hey, chill ;)
I'm not saying it is doing a very good job at getting a message thrue!
- it just makes me think of all the retards I se here (Denmark) who drive in t-shirts in summer...
Personally I 80% of the times I take a drive, I go in full leather + boots, helmet, gloves & backbrace ofcourse.
the rest 20% is mixed between just the jacket or my textile one, icon dragging jeans and usually also the backbrace!

ffs its making a point.
"what do we have to do to get noticed"
Australia has a heavy emphasis on protective gear in our licencing schemes so people are schooled on the benefits of protective clothing. Everyone in the country who jumps on a motorcycle knows it will do them well, this ad is aimed at drivers. The only thing thats not legislated about protective gear in Aus is its compulsery usage.
Where does that guy put that card at 0:45?
