The conference was held in cooperation between AUC and the Middle East Political Science Project. Participants included AUC President Lisa Anderson and key political scientists, academics, bloggers and activists from universities and institutions such as Columbia University, Cambridge University, George Washington University, Yale University, Birzeit University, The Carnegie Endowment, Al Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies, and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems.
