Mike Tyson vs Bruce Sheldon (WAS THIS FIGHT FIXED ?) The crowd was chanting "fixed" at the end of the bout. The mysterious knock out was even questioned by the commentators.
To the people saying this fight was fixed or that Seldon was acting, did you even see the left hook that rocked Seldon's chin before the TKO ? It was fast. Maybe you didn't actually see it ?
@BruceinFalkirk you gotta give credit to Spinks for that. He was a light-heavyweight facing a ferocious HW, he was truly scared of it, knowing deep inside he was going to be knocked out. But he went in there and took his beating like a man. That is what you can expect from a champion.
@Alltimeboxing - Watch Bowe-Seldon - the outcome is quite similar. What we have is a man who cannot take a punch against a still-capable Mike Tyson and a load of people that wasted a lot of money.
By contrast, Tyson-Spinks was about the same length as this match and Spinks was fairly knocked out and no one complained about that fight.
Why fix this fight? Everyone already knew Tyson was going to win. Seldon the pussy just kept throwing himself on the canvas until the ref stopped it. Fear, not money, was his motivation.
@groofoot In my opinion there was no arrangement, because it was not Tyson's style, he didnt need that to win and he probably have preferred a fair fight to prepare for Holyfield. Plus when a fight is fixed its generally the favorite that goes down, not the bum that is supposed to go down anyway! I dont really get it, probably just a very coward way for Seldon to get a good payday without being hurt. But as a boxer, what a shame !
@Alltimeboxing -- Exactly! I tell people boxing is not fixed to the degree everyone thinks, ... but this fight hurts that argument. Tyson came to fight, but Seldon def did not. On the first knockdown, the count is unbelivably slow, .... on the 2nd knockdown, I don't think either punch touched Seldon ... and he did do a Bad acting job. I just hope it was just Seldon knowing he was gonna lose, and that Mike and the ref didn't have anything to do w it...
What the hell language is that, Danish?

the fight was not fixed. Seldon was scared and went down by his own will.
