I loved his voice, and his drawl, so laid back - I could listen to him talk all day. What a interesting man he was. Cracked me up when he shared about the oysters - must have been Bluff oysters. LOL rest in peace dear friend.

I feel old knowing he is gone, i remember it was just 10 years back that it all started, well round about...sad as hell. SG1 was a show that makes all the new shows look like a joke, SG1 should have ended earlier imo...Danial jackson, samantha carter, richard dean anderson and michael shanks ARE the only team i wanna see, i feel so sad in nostalgia because it really was that good. I'll cheer myself up by watching the first 5 seasons back to back ; )

I actually started crying the day I found out that he died and the way he died. I lost my father because of a heart attack 10 years ago, so I felt sooo bad for his family. Mr. Davis will be greatly missed.

My bday too. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to have so many years of watching him on Stargate SG-1. He absolutely embodied his character with strength & with warmth. He's greatly missed.
