what sort of ignition are you using, simply changing to a 1-2-3 dizzy and altering the tappet clearances sorted my bottom end power out

@minicables I got it running on 1-2-3 now, but the low end power is down due to the camshaft. Its a full race camshaft, so i never expected much power down low anyway. Its running fine now :)

has that got a race spec cam in it? seems very sluggish pulling away normally, bet its amazingly fast though.

Its a 300 degree cam

means the power band starts from about 3000+ rpm not much power below that rpm. Max rpm is about 7500 when needed, but I dont want to do that to often because of reliability. 7000max normally

how much BHP you getting from stage 5 because i have my mini spent loads on engine am getting a nice amount of BHP from it but i have yet to go through stages 1 -5

The engine blew before it could go on the dyno. Its getting rebuild. I think it will have about 120 - 125 BHP

yeah ive got one in my 1380, stage 3 head, std rockers, twin hs4's took it minisport and rob was impressed how smooth it was, i actually think it drives feels like a standard 1275 off cam

yeah thought so, but no doubt once its in the power band it really goes, and i love the sound of the sc box, also look into getting a rev limiter if you haven't already to help reliabilty and longevity of the engine.

mines the same on pull off but afta that it goes like a rocket ,and when its near red lineing it goes even faster like its gota turbo kickin in lol but it hasnt
