While taking my dog Lucky for a walk I watched a weak thunderstorm try to get its act together. In a hour several small thunderstorms formed in the same area creating a "clusterstorm". Cool time lapse of a "clusterstorm" thunderstorm.

  • None of the above. Its a summer time thunderstorm I called a "Clusterstorm". Its where several small short lived thunderstorm cells form in the same area. Look at how it looks like the storm builds over and over. Each time its a small thunderstorm. On the radar you could see the small storms pop and die out in the same area.

  • Excellent Time laps Details. That was a very intence LP Cluster!. The first tower was quite short lived, but wow, the area just seemed to explode and nearly co-oless at maximum instability zones at the mid and lower quadrents observed near Upper Right main updraft. Towards the end, i noticed a secondary main updraft on the lower left of the screen. Id love to know the ambient temperature where you filmed this. Well done Indeed.

  • That is one heck of a time lapse!
