www.insituarsenic.org // The award winning SAR Technology involves a very simple, down-to-earth mechanism to remove arsenic from groundwater using calculated oxidation of aquifer by aerial oxygen and bioremediation process taking place inside the aquifer. Almost no sludge is produced during operational stage since iron & arsenic are trapped under the earth. The operation & maintenance cost is very low & the SAR plants have an expected lifetime of 10 years.
Queen's University-Belfast, RKVM-India, NML - Jamshedpur and other advisors viz. CML-The Netherlands, UMH-Spain & Stuttgart University, Germany have installed 6 SAR Plants in different locations of arsenic affected West Bengal, India. This is part 1 of the 15 min video on the project
