Yes, some labels *did* have slogans..
Remember Chancellor, for example? Their motto was "Que Je Surmonte" (French for "That I May Overcome," the motto of the Chancellor of County Lanark, Scotland)..
Or Gordy in its early days? "It's what's in the grooves that count" (a favoritre expression of Motown founder Berry Gordy, Jr.).
And not to forget Beserkley: "Home of the Hits."

I had this one as a kid. Count V was a band from Lincoln High School in San Jose, Ca. They wore black capes on stage like Dracula. The fast rave-up section with the rhythmic strum on the guitar bridge is right out of The Yardbirds "I'm A Man". One hit wonders, this is their three minutes of fame

Record labels had slogans?
Like I said, I still can't get over the quality of sound this player plays. I agree that mono mixes are by far superior. Especially when one speaker doesn't work, or when you're closer to another, etc. The only purpose stereo serves to me, is that it's kind of neat playing a song while cutting out one speaker.

Your presence here again is a psychotic reaction and glad for it. I didn't say prayers for you, but I let the spirits know my feelings against wrongs for rights. I see that this knowing is good. As I said to Whopfrog, there are Gems in music, and your music going on with yourself and life is certainly a Gem. A shining star. For those that know, know with music. Play on sir!
