Awesome tune from Baten Kaitos. For most gamers, Baten Kaitos, it's a mixed bag. Good story, graphics and characters, but the battle system is "love it or hate it" and the voice acting is pretty bad. But the soundtrack is great, as expected from Motoi Sakuraba.

I could never get over how it sounded like the voice actors were talking through cardboard tubes or something.  What was up with that, anyway? This song carries the game, though. Very, very good choice.

I believe if you picked "Surround" in you could fix this in the first disc, and the second didn't seem to have that problem.

Kalas was easy for me. Fadroh was just a bastard with that damn orb of his. Status guard equipment makes Kalas a LOT easier.

I love this song. :D I actually didn't mind the voice acting; I barely paid it any attention. XD Still, this was one of the few games that I pick up just to watch certain moments over again...

I believe this is the song where you fight Kalas. Memories, memories...I always managed to beat him, but I didn't like to fight him, because he was my favorite character. XP He was always the strongest one for me.

so how does sakurabi get the guitar melody in the song? Does he actually play guitar, or is there a guest artist for that? Or is there an actual guitar midi device?

Well, from what I understand the voice acting was actually pretty good, the main problem was that since you were a guardian spirit from another world they kinda messed up the sound to make it feel like you we're actually from the spirit world, it wasn't a good idea though because it was just annoying...

heres a thought. put baten kaitos and arc rise fantasia together and make a new rpg for Wii. both genres would make a kick ass rpg. espicialy since ps3 and 360 is competing with fps so much. Wii shuld mop up with rpgs... but just dont get the VA from arc rise LOL

Malpercio was fun to fight. And the theme was so awesome. :D
