The most snowy places in Europe are in the south: northern Greece, Bulgaria and eastern Italy. Every year in eastern Italy fall 120-160 cm (600 meters above sea) and 30-50 cm on the coasts. In january of 2005 falled 280 cm at 300 meters above sea, and 150 cm on the coasts.
