(Stephen) King Hospital - Chapter 3

Okay, so I'm really sorry I haven't posted this one in.. forever. I was being stupid and didn't realize more people wanted to read this. I'm going to try and switch between this one and Blowin' in the Wind.

This chapter is really, really short for my usual.. I'm sorry about that, I just wanted to end it at a certain spot. I didn't really have much more to add inbetween. It would just make it drag out too much..

The silently followed the two Jonases. Kevin noticed and turned around. He immediately saw Esme, and her blue eyes, and almost stopped breathing.

"Eh, hey girls.. On a walk too, I see."

"Yeah," Sherry replied, "It was getting boring in my room."

"Same here!" Joe jumped in. "I couldn't stand it in there. So, uh, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but what happened to you?"

"Well, me, my friend Esme here, and our other friends were going to a Jo-- one of your concerts. I was trying to show them a trick on my skateboard and ended up, um, smacking head first into a wall.."

"Ouch.."

"Well, at least your injury isn't in vain. I mean, with our concert cancelled and all," Kevin said, trying to lighten the mood.

"I'm so sorry about that," said Esme.

"It's alright. Joe is more important than some tour. You're Esme, right?"

"Yes, and this is Sherry."

"Your name is so pretty, kinda like that girl from, Twilight, isn't it?"

"Ha, yes, but it was my name first. Oh, and I'm not a vampire, either."
Her remark made Kevin laugh.

"So, where is your room?" Joe asked Sherry.

"Um, room 308. Why?"

"Really? Mine is 310."

"Yeah, we kinda heard you guys through the wall.." Esme said.

"That loud?"

"Yep."

"But, hey, this means we can see each other more."

Sherry's eyes brightened, "That would be.. great"
