  • Thank you so much for posting this series. I am in my mid-50s and M*A*S*H still remains my all-time favorite TV show. As a veteran Viet Nam protester (anti war, NOT anti soldier because I do understand the need for the military - just to be clear), I LOVED this show . I was so disappointed when ION discontinued airing it last year. . My only alternative now is to surf YouTube looking for links and so very glad I found this rich history.

  • @vmt1 Thanks for the note. I'm just a few years older than you and share your sentiments. Especially don't like wars that don't like wars without clearly defined objectives.

  • Ron Burgandy?

  • Hurt me! We may have had a similar look, but he was much smoother!

  • Thanks for posting. Yes, I like Mash, but these reports you did were also like reliving my senior year of high school. Plus it was interesting to see the history of 1983. Do you have any more old newscasts you could post?

  • mash was the best and will always be the best

  • remember when seinfeld idiots were all asserting that its finale was going to crush MASH's rating.

    AHH...not quite,

  • Thanks for posting these. A great tribute to a show I watched the reruns of as a teenager in the early 2000s.

  • Legendary characters...

    Heart-warming stories...

    Immortal dialogues...

Best part - it was all tackled with unparalled wit !!

So relatable even decades later... I love MASH and everyone who was a part of it... Thank you so very much for uploading this!

  • @AlanSivell Again (in case you didn't see it)...Thanks Alan.

  • there are so few shows today that are as good as M*A*S*H. I still watch it in reruns everyday. I remember watching the finale and being so sad that it was ending. Thanks for posting this!

  • I am 18 (I was born in 1992), and this is my favorite show because of its all-star cast, themes, because it can be funny at times and sad at others, you get to feel close to the actors, and because it's 23 years old and still getting good ratings.
