  • am sorry that 241 was my old cylinder heads

  • 3.73 and the 3600 stall is not really daily drive car

you should take 3.73 with 3000 - 3200 stall and my cam is MS4 but now am running Texas Speed Giant camshaft

  • cool, you never see rodlites on camaros

  • @60magras i wasnt talking about top speed. i am talking about static gear ratio. something few people even know about or understand. if you have a 3:73 ratio and you put on a 28 inch tire....your ratio is changed. its ok...anyone who knows racing in depth will chime in and agree. i agree youll feel the difference in having a high gearset in any car. but higher doesnt necessarily equal more efficient as far as ET's. although its more fun.

  • Respond to this video... for 1/2 2.73 stock with performance and torque converter

  • @60magras best for street use 3.55 best for 1/4 3.73 for autos 3.90 or 4.10 for standards

  • @kief4diamonds Kid I understand the tire helps to get more top speed.. buttt is not the same shit.. I had the 3.73, 3.55 4.10 you can feel the difference when you go over 120 mph no matter if you have tall tires..

  • @60magras the 3:55 is ok....but when you put a 28inch tall tire on a car is changes the ratio of the gear due to the new circumference of the tire. so basicall a car with 3:73 with a 28 inch MT does have a static ratio of 3:55. learn something new erry day. haha

  • @kief4diamonds I think the best for street use is the 3.55 amazing gear for camaro's ls1

  • @kief4diamonds I ran my ls1 with my 3.73 top speed was 164 with gps, I think is good... at 6600 rpm. My top speed with 2.73 was 177 without the limiter at the same rpm... My rpm are limited at 6800 now with the hptuner but 2.73 have a low start...

  • @manuelagrasferrer first off its asked "what is the top speed with 3:73" and the answer is somewhere between 162 and 170mph because f bodies stop showing at 155mph and yet they keep pulling. this is assuming your pushin around 6500rpms. a GPS has to be used to determine this and it has. the air thickness values and drag can also add to these numbers and the type of tires, wheels and road and wind conditions. hope that helps.

  • you also need to change that cam to a smaller one...your bleeding off alot of boost. way too much lift and lobe seperation with the ms4. 228r or brutespeed or thunder racing fi cam will wake it up. mid size baby cams are amazing these days...mine put down some serious numbers compared to the donkey dick cams.
