This is wonderful! So much luckier performance than the original ones in Copenhagen! They should seriously consider restaging it sometime, even if the dvd will be out. But I guess that's not likely.
This is just breathtaking! Ch'io parta and this aria both so heartbreaking! Handel can do anything with music, and Scholl is magic.

there are countertenors who can sing even higher...:-) but I think the overall beauty of the voice is more important than the number of registers...and IMHO Andreas`voice is one of the most beautiful ...
