P[eopel who develop this disease when they are very young are the people who get the excessive enlargement of skeletal structure, therefore being very tall. i was diagnosed when i was 22, i am 5ft8 and i have not grown taller. i had many symptoms which have now been reversed by medication lowering my growth hormone. so paul you are right :) although my feet got bigger and my hands my weight etc etc my height was not changed.

guys im only 16 and i think i got this syndrom ... i dont know what to do im short only 5.8 in hieght (170)cm but i wear shoes size 14 in american and 50 in europ omfg >>?? and i have the sking disease and enlarged hands .. this starts to get a littlebit creepy ... im afriad that it will get worst and i have enlarged heart and lungs
this is the scariest thing in acromegaly

@dcjoker1940 Just saw your message, It went great and to my surprise I did not have it. Just had an oversized jaw wich I have now fixed with surgery. Hope everything works out for you :)
