Just practising the approach circuit at different heights. Several things to notice: Often the wind across take-off field is strong, but this day was very light, so I just float on through. On the second approach, note the oscillation of my wing when flown at high speed, some intermediate HGs do this. Note how the wind speed drops and the direction switches through about 90deg between the 2nd and 3rd approaches. Notes to self: 1-watch everything, 2-Long Mynd is a great flying site, 3-big thanks to the person who picked me up from the bottom landing field.
