Didn't get hurt really, got thrown on the floor a lot and quite a few head shots but they were fairly controlled, I got hit a lot more than I would at a training session at home. I learnt a bit more about my guard, but no matter how well I defended myself , the Thai trainers, all pro fighters, would hit you twice in the face as you were throwing a punch, It was good lots of fun , I recommend you give it a go.

It was hot, well over 30c first thing in the morning when we were going running, it was very humid as well, it was ok but I had to drink 6 litres of water a day it was hard to stay hydrated.
